Life is like a river

When we feel depressed, anxious or stressed, it’s really common to feel ‘stuck’, whilst life goes on around us. It’s almost as if we’re in a state of limbo, feeling that things will never change, that life will always be this way. But, speaking from personal experience, it’s possible to think differently. I like to think of life being like a river, it is fluid, constantly changing, moving forward, never standing still. As a professional hypnotherapist I’m often asked the question, ‘Can you make me feel better?’. My answer is always, ‘No, but I can guide you to a place where you can make the changes you need to feel better’. Change lies within all of us and through positive suggestion directly to the subconscious mind, we can achieve such great things. Hypnotherapy can help us change the way we feel, to look at things in a different way, and most importantly, to become unstuck. Although sometimes the world may seem a dark place if we’re experiencing depression, anxiety or stress, the sun is always there. Sometimes we just have to look a little harder for it. The sun can shine for all of us.
